Role Overview
 

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-driven Reporting Officer based in Lagos, Nigeria. This is a full-time, in-office role focused on generating accurate, timely, and insightful reports on transaction activity, business performance, and financial data to support decision-making across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on card transaction volumes, revenue, and performance metrics
• Analyze transaction data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Develop dashboards and automated reports for internal stakeholders
• Work closely with finance, operations, and management teams to deliver actionable insights
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reported data
• Maintain reporting templates and continuously improve reporting processes
• Handle ad-hoc reporting and data analysis requests from leadership
• Support regulatory and compliance-related reporting where required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in reporting, data analysis, or fintech/payments environments
• Advanced Excel proficiency is essential (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling, dashboards)
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Good communication skills for presenting insights clearly
• Must have completed NYSC or hold a valid Exemption/Exclusion Certificate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in payments, fintech, or card processing environments
• Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools
• Understanding of KPIs related to transaction processing and financial performance
