Our client is a global leading provider of digital asset solutions and services. For their office in Nicosia, they are looking for an ambitious and self-driven digital asset execution trader, based in Nicosia, to support their fast global growth.
 

Responsibilities:

• Execute client orders according to best execution policy and within set risk limits
• Work under the supervision of the senior trader
• Contribute to building top-notch trading infrastructure across all services (exchange, prime brokerage, spot, derivatives etc.)
• Open, manage and supervise relationships with digital asset exchanges, OTC dealers, liquidity providers and market-makers; contribute to due diligence and monitoring
• Manage the proprietary trading portfolio of the firm, take in charge hedging activities, within set risk limits
• Comply with all risk limits at all times
• Ensure proper execution and settlement of trades in close collaboration with the back-office/operations team
• Write daily newsletters about digital assets
• Write ad-hoc research papers
• Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of the trading platform to offer best-in-class liquidity and execution capabilities
• Prepare dashboards and report about trading activities and best execution to the Management
• Participate to ad-hoc projects and initiatives, such as testing new product releases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, finance and/or business administration
• Min. 3 years’ experience in trading with cryptos (professionally) is mandatory.
• Holder of the advanced CySEC certificate or willing to take the exam asap
• Excellent quantitative skills, well organized and structured
• Strong passion and excellent understanding of crypto-currencies and blockchain technologies
• Highest professional standards with respect to risk, and compliance aspects (market abuse, best execution, stock exchange rules, etc.)
• Knowledge of market-making, a plus
• Quant and coding capabilities, a strong plus
• Autonomous, open-minded, self-starter, fast-learner, hands-on, high-energy level and result-oriented
• Fluent in English, Greek a strong plus.

Working Hours: 

Standard office hours and hybrid job (3 days from home)
