FxCareer is looking for a highly experienced Senior Risk & Data Analyst to work from our Sivakasi, office. This role goes beyond traditional risk monitoring and requires strategic thinking, strong ownership, and advanced analytical capability within PSP and acquiring environments. We are seeking someone who leads from the front, proactively identifies risks before they surface, and uses data-driven insights to drive decisive action.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor and analyze transaction volumes, approval ratios, refund patterns, and chargeback rates across merchants and MIDs.
• Identify early warning signals related to fraud exposure, chargeback thresholds, scheme compliance, and acquirer risk limits.
• Independently flag potential issues and escalate risks before they become operational or financial problems.
• Design and maintain data-driven risk dashboards and alerts using Python and analytical tools.
• Perform deep-dive analysis on historical and real-time data to support risk decisions and merchant reviews.
• Work closely with operations, compliance, and management teams to propose actionable risk mitigation strategies.
• Take full ownership of assigned risk areas — this is not a passive reporting role.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience within a PSP, acquirer, or payment processing environment.
• Strong understanding of card schemes, chargebacks, dispute ratios, monitoring programs, and risk thresholds.
• Data science background with strong proficiency in Python for analytics, automation, and reporting.
• Ability to work independently — a self-starter, not a follower.
• Proven track record of taking initiative and driving outcomes without waiting for instructions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the confidence to challenge assumptions and flag uncomfortable truths when necessary.
• Experience working with large datasets, trends, and predictive indicators is highly preferred.
