Portfolio Product & Growth Manager
We are looking for a product-minded and growth-oriented Portfolio Product & Growth Manager to support the continuous improvement of a portfolio of live online businesses.
The company operates multiple independent digital businesses across different niches, each with its own website, target audience, product logic, content needs, social channels, and improvement backlog.
This role combines product testing, competitor research, growth ideas, content planning, social media coordination, PR topic development, and detailed task preparation for development and creative teams.
The successful candidate will regularly review each product as a real user, identify practical improvement opportunities, prepare clear written instructions, and coordinate execution through developers, designers, AI tools, and scheduling software. Significant product or commercial changes will be escalated to the board for approval.
This is not a pure project management role. We are looking for someone who can think like a product manager, test like a user, research like a marketer, and write instructions clearly enough for execution teams to act without confusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly review and test live websites, platforms, user flows, forms, content, and product journeys.
- Identify product, UX, content, and growth improvement opportunities.
- Research competitors and market examples to find practical ideas for improvement.
- Prepare clear written tasks, briefs, and instructions for developers, designers, content teams, and other contributors.
- Support the creation of product updates, social media ideas, content themes, and PR topic suggestions.
- Help maintain active communication channels for each product, including LinkedIn, X, and other relevant platforms.
- Coordinate content scheduling and review materials before publication.
- Track progress of approved tasks and follow up with execution teams.
- Prepare regular summaries of findings, ideas, completed work, and proposed next steps.
- Use AI tools and productivity tools to speed up research, writing, task preparation, and content planning.

Required Skills
- Experience in product management, digital project management, growth, content, marketing, or online business operations.
- Strong written English.
- Good understanding of websites, digital products, user journeys, and online customer experience.
- Ability to write clear tasks, briefs, reports, and improvement proposals.
- Comfortable working with developers, designers, marketers, and business stakeholders.
- Good research skills and ability to learn from competitors.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organization and follow-up skills.
- Practical experience with tools such as Jira, Trello, Notion, ClickUp, Google Workspace, Canva, Figma, social scheduling tools, or similar.
- Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Qwen, or similar.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with SaaS, fintech, education, marketplaces, online services, or digital platforms.
- Basic understanding of SEO, social media content, PR, and landing page conversion.
- Experience preparing product specifications or user stories.
- Experience testing websites or digital customer journeys.
- Experience managing several small projects or products at the same time.
- Experience working with remote or cross-functional teams.
Example Weekly Activities
- Review selected products and user flows.
- Identify bugs, UX issues, weak content, or unclear messaging.
- Research competitor websites, features, posts, and positioning.
- Prepare improvement tasks for the execution team.
- Suggest social media post ideas and content angles.
- Prepare PR or article topic ideas with bullet points.
- Review completed work before it goes live.
- Schedule or coordinate approved content.
- Send a short weekly update with findings, progress, and next steps.
Decision-Making
- The role includes ownership of research, testing, documentation, coordination, and recommendations.
- Major product, commercial, branding, or strategic changes are reviewed and approved by management before execution.
What This Role Is Not
- This is not only a traditional Project Manager role focused on timelines and task tracking.
- It is also not only a Social Media Manager or Content Writer role.
- The role sits between product, growth, content, and execution. The person should be able to understand what needs to be improved, explain it clearly, and help move it forward.
