As an IT Technician, you'll work closely with other teams while also serving as the primary point of contact for support requests and error reports from employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up new user accounts and machines
- Install and maintain hardware/software components on user PCs
- Keep operating systems and software updated and patched to maintain user-level security
- Replace defective hardware or systems when needed
- Act as the first point of contact for error reporting and end-user support
- Assist users in operating software and computer equipment
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of software and hardware
- Collaborate with the network team to manage Telephony systems
- Maintain IoT devices (e.g., video conferencing systems, printers, etc.)
- Record and update IT support tickets in the Jira Ticketing System
- Manage the company’s physical access control system
- Update and review technical documentation
- Carry out other tasks as assigned occasionally
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science or a related IT field
- Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems (MacOS knowledge is a plus)
- Knowledge of Windows Active Directory
- Good knowledge of Office 365 and Google Workspace applications
- Basic understanding of computer hardware
