On behalf of our client, a well-established international brokerage and financial services group, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Head of Dealing (Chief Dealer) to join their growing team in Nicosia.

Operating across multiple international markets, the company provides trading and investment services to a global client base through a regulated and technology-driven environment. Due to continued growth, the company is seeking a highly experienced dealing professional to lead its trading operations, execution management, liquidity relationships, and risk oversight function.
 

Position Overview

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the Company's dealing operations, execution quality, trading risk management, and liquidity infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in multi-asset dealing environments and a deep understanding of execution management, exposure monitoring, hedging strategies, client flow analysis, and liquidity provider management.
The role requires both strategic and hands-on involvement in managing trading risk, identifying toxic flow, optimizing execution quality, and supporting the Company's continued growth across international markets.
 

Key Responsibilities

Dealing Operations & Execution Management

• Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop the Dealing Team
• Oversee daily dealing operations across multiple trading platforms
• Monitor execution quality, order routing, fill ratios, slippage, and trading performance
• Ensure efficient execution management and adherence to internal dealing procedures
• Continuously optimize execution settings and trading environment performance

Risk Management & Exposure Control

• Monitor and manage the Company's market risk exposure across all asset classes
• Develop and implement effective hedging strategies to manage risk and protect profitability
• Monitor net open positions, client concentration risk, symbol exposure, and market event risks
• Evaluate and manage A-Book, B-Book, and Hybrid execution models
• Review exposure reports and ensure appropriate risk mitigation measures are implemented
• Monitor trading activity during major market events and periods of increased volatility

Client Flow Analysis & Toxic Flow Detection

• Analyze trading behaviour and client flow characteristics
• Identify and manage toxic flow, latency arbitrage, high-frequency trading activity, news trading, aggressive scalping strategies, and other potentially harmful trading patterns
• Monitor client profitability metrics and trading behaviour trends
• Develop risk parameters and escalation procedures for suspicious or abusive trading activity
• Work closely with Compliance and Risk departments where necessary

Liquidity & Trading Infrastructure

• Manage relationships with Liquidity Providers (LPs), Prime Brokers, and execution venues
• Monitor LP performance, execution quality, spreads, rejections, and fill rates
• Optimize liquidity distribution and execution routing across providers
• Support configuration and optimization of bridges, aggregation systems, and execution infrastructure
• Participate in onboarding and evaluation of new LPs and technology providers
  Trading Platform Configuration
• Configure and manage trading instruments, markups, commissions, swaps, trading sessions, leverage settings, and execution parameters
• Support the ongoing optimization of trading conditions and product offerings
• Work closely with Technology teams regarding platform enhancements and trading infrastructure improvements
  Reporting & Stakeholder Management
• Prepare and present regular reports on exposure, risk, execution quality, LP performance, profitability, and trading activity
• Provide recommendations to Executive Management regarding trading strategy, risk management, and operational improvements
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Operations, Finance, and Technology teams

Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience within a brokerage, trading services provider, or multi-asset trading environment
• Proven experience as Head of Dealing, Chief Dealer, Senior Dealer, or equivalent leadership position
• Strong understanding of A-Book, B-Book, and Hybrid execution models
• Demonstrated experience managing exposure, hedging strategies, and execution risk
• Strong knowledge of client flow analysis, toxic flow identification, latency arbitrage, scalping strategies, and execution monitoring
• Experience managing relationships with Liquidity Providers and execution venues
• Strong understanding of trading platform configuration and execution management
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills

Highly Desirable

• Strong hands-on experience with MT5, cTrader, Centroid, OneZero, PrimeXM, or similar brokerage technologies
• Experience managing multi-asset trading environments including FX, Commodities, Indices, Equities, and Digital Assets
• Experience supporting international client flows across multiple regions
• Experience working within regulated environments such as CySEC, FCA, ASIC, DFSA, or equivalent regulatory frameworks
• Knowledge of advanced execution analytics, LP performance analysis, and liquidity optimization

Remuneration & Benefits

• Monthly Gross Salary: €5,000 – €6,500 (depending on experience and qualifications)
