On behalf of our client, an established international trading group, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead and develop the company’s technology infrastructure and trading systems from their office in Nicosia.

Position Overview

This is a senior-level leadership position responsible for overseeing the Group’s trading technology environment, platform infrastructure, system architecture, and operational technology strategy supporting the company’s international business activities.

The successful candidate will take ownership of trading platform performance, execution infrastructure, liquidity and API integrations, cybersecurity, and scalability initiatives, while also contributing to the enhancement of internal operational systems and CRM infrastructure as the business continues to grow internationally, including across the MENA region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s overall technology strategy and infrastructure roadmap
• Oversee trading systems, execution infrastructure, and platform stability across multiple trading environments
• Manage MT4/MT5 ecosystems, bridge technologies, FIX API integrations, and liquidity connectivity
• Ensure high availability, low-latency execution, system scalability, and operational resilience
• Lead cloud infrastructure, DevOps, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery initiatives
• Collaborate closely with Dealing, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Executive Management teams
• Drive innovation across trading technology, automation, reporting, and AI-driven solutions
• Support the optimization and integration of internal operational platforms, CRM systems, and workflow automation processes
• Manage external technology vendors, infrastructure providers, and strategic technical partnerships
• Build and lead high-performing technology teams in a fast-paced trading environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role within Forex, CFD, FinTech, or Financial Services
• Strong understanding of trading infrastructure, liquidity management systems, and execution technologies
• Experience with MetaTrader environments, FIX protocol, APIs, and scalable cloud architectures
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, infrastructure resilience, and operational continuity
• Ability to bridge customer-facing trading technology with internal operational systems
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
• Experience supporting international operations and high-volume trading environments will be considered a strong advantage

Preferred

• Exposure to CRM platforms and enterprise operational systems
• Experience in international brokerage environments
• Knowledge of automation, analytics, and AI-driven trading technologies
• Previous experience within multi-jurisdiction or MENA-focused business environments
