FXCareer.eu is recruiting on behalf of a client for a hands-on, execution-focused Technical Product Owner (TPO) to take a key role within its growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong product ownership skills with the technical depth to work directly with developers and senior technical leadership.

As the company’s first dedicated Product Owner, you will have significant ownership of the development roadmap and play a central role in turning technical and business requirements into structured, executable development work.

Salary:

€3,500 – €4,500 gross per month, depending on experience and technical background.

The Role

Working closely with the CTO, engineering teams and Project Manager, you will:

• Own, maintain and prioritize the product backlog and operational roadmap
• Work closely with the development team during sprint execution, helping clear blockers and manage dependencies
• Translate business and technical requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and detailed technical specifications
• Collaborate with the CTO and senior engineers on system integrations, APIs and solution design
• Break complex projects and epics into structured, actionable development tasks
• Coordinate dependencies and drive delivery against agreed milestones
• Support functional testing and validate prototypes before release
• Assist with production issues across your product areas
• Ensure immediate engineering deliverables remain aligned with the company's longer-term technology roadmap

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years’ experience as a Technical Product Owner, Systems Analyst, Technical Program Manager or similar technical delivery role
• Direct experience working closely with software engineering teams
• Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, data flows and software architecture concepts
• Experience with microservices and/or event-driven applications
• Ability to confidently discuss technical requirements and trade-offs with developers and senior technical leadership
• Strong Agile delivery experience, including Jira, Linear or similar platforms
• Proven ability to translate complex requirements into detailed user stories and strict acceptance criteria
• Proactive, organized and execution-driven approach
• Excellent written and spoken English
