To support our expansion, we are seeking a highly organized and performance-driven professional to manage and optimize multiple PayPal and PSP accounts, ensuring stability, compliance, and strong financial performance across all payment channels.
Role Overview
The Senior PayPal & PSP Account Manager will be responsible for the overall monitoring and management of more than 20 PayPal and PSP accounts.
This role requires hands-on operational oversight, proactive monitoring of balances and risk ratios, and the ability to implement strategic solutions that enhance account health and prevent limitations. The ideal candidate will combine analytical thinking with strong communication skills and deep knowledge of payment operations.
Key Responsibilities
PayPal & PSP Account Oversight
- Monitor and manage over 20 active PayPal and PSP accounts daily.
- Conduct complete and timely reviews of all accounts to ensure operational compliance and stability.
- Ensure all accounts remain in good standing and aligned with provider policies and thresholds.
Balance & Liquidity Monitoring
- Monitor account balances to ensure adequate liquidity and uninterrupted payment processing.
- Coordinate internal transfers and funding where necessary.
- Prevent operational disruptions caused by insufficient balances.
Refund & Chargeback Ratio Management
- Monitor refund ratios and chargeback ratios against acceptable thresholds.
- Identify early warning signs of performance risks.
- Implement corrective actions to maintain healthy account metrics and avoid limitations.
- Work closely with internal teams to reduce disputes and improve transaction quality.
Performance Optimization
- Provide actionable solutions to optimize account performance and stability.
- Identify trends affecting approval rates, refunds, or disputes.
- Recommend operational improvements to reduce risk exposure and improve account longevity.
- Coordinate with PayPal representatives and PSP partners to resolve issues promptly.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare regular reports covering balances, refund ratios, chargeback ratios, and overall account health.
- Maintain proper documentation of account reviews and corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to internal compliance and risk management policies.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of experience in PayPal or PSP account management, payment operations, or fintech environments.
- Strong understanding of refund ratios, chargeback ratios, and account health metrics.
- Experience managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Very good English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work onsite full-time in Lagos.
