We are building institutional-grade cryptocurrency exchange infrastructure and are seeking an elite Senior Blockchain Engineer / Exchange Architect to design and implement high-performance, secure, low-latency trading systems from the ground up.

This is not a typical Web3 role.

The role is strictly office-based in Sivakasi, requiring full-time, on-site presence. You will work closely with the core engineering team to architect and build mission-critical exchange systems used at scale.
If you have previously built or contributed to crypto exchanges, DeFi protocols, custody systems, or HFT infrastructure, this role is for you.
 

Key Responsibilities

Core Engineering

• Architect and implement a full crypto exchange backend (spot, margin, futures, perpetuals)
• Build high-performance matching engines (order books, auctions, liquidation logic) with microsecond-level latency
• Develop low-latency backend services using Rust, C++, or Go
• Design and build internal ledgering, accounting, and settlement systems
• Implement risk, margin, and liquidation engines
• Build scalable, fault-tolerant distributed backend systems.

Blockchain & Crypto Infrastructure

• Design and manage wallet and custody infrastructure (hot/cold wallets, MPC, multisig, HSM)
• Integrate multiple Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchains
• Implement secure deposit, withdrawal, and settlement pipelines
• Write, review, and audit smart contracts
• Integrate DeFi protocols, DEXs, bridges, and liquidity mechanisms
• Build blockchain indexers, parsers, and on-chain analytics systems
• Monitor mempools and implement MEV protection strategies.

Security & Risk

• Design systems resilient against exchange exploits, key compromise, replay attacks, and smart contract vulnerabilities
• Perform security audits, threat modeling, and advanced code reviews
• Implement real-time monitoring, alerting, and anomaly detection
• Enforce best practices in custody, key management, and system security.

Scalability & Reliability

• Design systems capable of handling 100,000+ TPS internally
• Optimize latency to sub-millisecond levels where required
• Build observability pipelines including logging, metrics, and alerting
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery readiness.

Required Experience

• 7–12+ years of backend or distributed systems engineering experience
• 3–5+ years of deep hands-on blockchain or crypto infrastructure experience
• Prior work on:
   
  • Cryptocurrency exchanges
  • Trading or matching engines
  • Custody or wallet systems
  • DeFi protocols
  • HFT or fintech infrastructure
     

Technical Skill Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in Rust, C++, or Go (at least one required)
• Strong knowledge of concurrent programming and low-latency systems
• Distributed systems and backend architecture expertise
• Database and messaging systems (PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka)
• Linux internals, networking, and performance tuning
• Blockchain experience including:
   
  • EVM-compatible chains
  • Node operations and RPC infrastructure
  • Smart contract development (Solidity / Rust)
  • Wallet and key management
  • On-chain analytics and indexing
     

Bonus Qualifications (Highly Valued)

• Built a crypto exchange from scratch
• HFT, quant trading, or market-making background
• Experience with MPC custody
• Cryptography or security research background
• MEV, arbitrage, or latency-sensitive trading systems experience
• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects
• Experience with regulated fintech or MSB environments
