On behalf of our client, an established international trading group, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Risk Manager to support and enhance the company’s risk management framework.
 

Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, monitoring, and managing key risks across the Company’s international operations. The role involves close collaboration with trading, finance, and compliance teams to ensure effective risk controls, exposure monitoring, and alignment with internal policies and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage market, liquidity, and operational risks
• Oversee client exposure, trading activity, and risk limits
• Develop and maintain risk reports for senior management
• Identify risk trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement
• Support the implementation and enhancement of risk management frameworks and policies
• Collaborate with dealing, finance, and compliance teams
• Contribute to stress testing and scenario analysis

Candidate Profile / Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in Risk Management within a Forex, brokerage, or financial services environment
• Strong understanding of trading risks, client exposure, and risk mitigation techniques
• Familiarity with trading platforms (e.g. MT4/MT5, cTrader, or similar)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with international operations, including MENA markets, will be considered an advantage
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Based in Cyprus or open to relocation Education
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
