Promotion Manager of a Category 5 CMA license applicant

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a results-driven Promotion Manager to plan, coordinate, and implement promotional activities and business development initiatives within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will support the promotion of the company’s financial products and services, develop effective marketing strategies, and help strengthen brand awareness, client engagement, and business growth while ensuring that promotional activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement promotional strategies and campaigns aligned with the company’s business objectives.
• Coordinate marketing and promotional activities relating to financial products and services.
• Identify business development opportunities and contribute to client acquisition and relationship management.
• Research market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to support promotional planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop promotional materials, presentations, and client communications.
• Monitor the performance of promotional campaigns and prepare reports on key performance indicators.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, business partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure promotional materials and communications are accurate, appropriate, and consistent with applicable regulatory and internal requirements.
• Work closely with management and relevant departments to support the execution of business growth initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of developments in financial markets, investment products, wealth management, and financial planning.

Qualifications and Experience

Route 1: University Qualification

• A university degree or certificate, together with at least three (3) years of experience in financial analysis or in financial markets, investment, wealth management, or financial planning.

Route 2: Diploma or Lower Qualification

• A diploma or lower-level educational qualification, together with at least seven (7) years of experience in financial analysis or in financial markets, investment, wealth management, or financial planning.

Alternative Qualification Route

Candidates with at least three (3) years of relevant experience may also qualify through one of the following alternative professional qualifications, subject to applicable regulatory requirements:

• Accredited Financial Analyst.
• Certified Investment Professional.
• Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF).
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
• Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA).
• Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
• ICA Specialist Certificate in Conduct Risk.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong communication, presentation, and promotional planning skills.
• Understanding of financial markets, investment products, wealth management, or financial planning.
• Ability to analyse market trends and identify business opportunities.
• Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple promotional initiatives.
• Awareness of compliance requirements relating to financial promotions and client communications.

• Must be a UAE resident
