Job Overview
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager / Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organisation’s overall operations, business development, and strategic growth. The successful candidate will oversee business performance, ensure effective corporate governance, and support compliance with applicable regulatory requirements within the financial markets and financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s strategic objectives, business plans, and growth initiatives.
• Oversee day-to-day business operations and ensure effective organisational performance.
• Lead business development initiatives and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Establish and maintain effective corporate governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
• Lead, motivate, and develop teams to achieve organisational objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, business partners, clients, and other key stakeholders.
• Report on business performance, strategic priorities, and operational matters to the Board of Directors or relevant governing body.

• A university degree or certificate, together with at least five (5) years of experience in financial markets or a relevant field.

• A diploma or lower-level educational qualification, together with at least fifteen (15) years of experience in financial markets or a relevant field.

• Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
• Accredited Financial Analyst
• Certified Investment Professional
• Certified Treasury Professional
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
• Master Financial Controller
• Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)
• Development Finance Analyst
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
• Chartered qualification, as applicable to the relevant recognised professional designation

• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent financial, commercial, and business management skills.
• Knowledge of financial markets, regulatory frameworks, and risk management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive business performance.
