We are looking for a passionate and innovative Data Analyst to turn data into meaningful insights that will drive impactful decisions across one of our affiliated Companies in Limassol. A Data Analyst plays a crucial role in helping organizations make informed business decisions by collecting, analysing, and presenting data. Main focus will be in maintaining and updating analysis databases as well as performing data analysis and delivering high quality reporting in existing and new business operations.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Collect, process and record large sets of data from various sources.
- Design, maintain and monitor databases to conduct the analysis required.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to uncover meaningful insights and drive business decisions
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key business metrics.
- Reconcile and evaluate data from multiple sources and resolving any discrepancies-issues identified, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Identify trends and patterns in data to support forecasting and planning activities.
- Present findings and insights to key stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
- Design, implement, monitor and troubleshoot trading system processes and trading system availability.
- Collaborate closely with the management function to evaluate and analyse data, identify patterns, produce comprehensive reports and provide actionable insights.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics.
- Recommend and implement improvements to existing data analysis processes and tools
Main requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Physics or any other relevant field.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of relational database technology, SQL and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as R, Python or MATLAB, or similar.
- Knowledge of Power BI or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in Greek and English language.
