CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an international Forex Broker with expanding operations in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Database Analyst to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the design, implementation, and maintenance of database systems to meet the organization's needs. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Computer Science, or a related field, who possess approximately 2+ years of proven experience as a Database Analyst or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of database management systems such as, Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server is a must, and proficiency in the SQL programming language is essential. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer based on skills and experience, including fully remote working options within Cyprus, with the ability to visit the office in Limassol at your discretion.
 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of database systems to meet the organization's needs.
• Assist in development and help enforce data management policies and procedures.
• Monitor database performance and optimize for efficiency and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and help resolve database issues and errors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure data integrity.
• Assist in development and maintenance of database processes and procedures documentation.
• Assist end-users in training on database usage and best practices.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
• Approximately 2+ years of proven experience as a Database Analyst or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Proficient in SQL programming language.
• Detail and deadline-oriented.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Familiarity with data modelling techniques and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
