CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Group of Investment Firms with offices in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Compliance Officer to join their team. The successful applicant will report to the Head of Compliance, assisting with the implementation of the Compliance framework for the Group. You will hold approximately 3+ years of relevant experience within a Compliance role within the Forex and/or Financial Services sectors and will ideally be a holder of the CySEC Advanced and/or AML Certification. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal are essential; any additional language skills will be considered a plus.


Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • The Senior Compliance Officer will report to the Head of Compliance and the Management.
  • Assist with the development and delivery implementation of the Compliance Framework and monthly/annual Compliance Requirements.
  • Take part in the wider compliance function by assisting with training, providing the Management with written reports and ad-hoc projects.
  • Demonstrate compliance knowledge and understanding of cross border rules and regulations.
  • Assist the Head of Compliance with reporting obligations requirements.
  • Delivery of the annual compliance monitoring programme including conducting compliance reviews from initiation to completion.
  • Identify new and emerging legislation and ensure business awareness of requirements.
  • Review marketing, advertising material and publications advising on amendments needed.
  • Provide daily Compliance support to the Company’ s departments.
  • Maintain the accuracy of compliance records and review periodic reports.
  • Work on projects which include cross border regulation elements.
  • Respond to internal and external compliance inquiries within given time frames.


Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University degree in Law or related fields.
  • Approximately 3+ years of Compliance experience within the Forex and/or Financial Services sectors.
  • Holder of CySEC Advanced/AML Certificate will be considered an advantage.
  • Very good use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Fluency in the English Language – Additional languages will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent judgment and detailed oriented.
  • Ability in delivering solutions quickly, efficiently and with accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong commitment to professional excellence.
