Senior Back-End Developer (C#, .NET Core)

Job Overview

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an award-winning technology provider to the global financial services industry, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Back-End Developer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for building scalable and high-performance backend services. Our client is seeking applicants who possess strong development experience with C#, .NET Core, and Entity Framework, as well as experience in microservices architecture and SQL databases. Any experience with front-end development frameworks such as React.js, Material UI, Redux, TypeScript, and JavaScript is a plus, but not essential. A highly attractive remuneration package is on offer, as well as Hybrid working options.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core.
• Implement and optimize database designs using Entity Framework and SQL.
• Architect and maintain scalable microservices-based backend infrastructure.
• Implement WebSockets for real-time communication and ensure stable client-server connections.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve the performance of backend applications.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Educated to degree level in Computer Science, or another relevant field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Back-End or Full-Stack Developer.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and Entity Framework.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Solid understanding of WebSockets for real-time applications and bidirectional communication.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• Experience with front-end development frameworks such as React.js, Material UI, Redux, TypeScript, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex systems.
• Knowledge of Forex trading and the financial markets in general is desirable, but not essential.
• Experience with any trading platforms (MT4/MT5 or similar) is a plus, but not required.
