Overall Purpose

Head up and manage your own Business Development team with an overall goal to increase the retail side of the business

Main Responsibilities

  • Create affiliate/IB partnerships in new or established markets
  • Use a professional network to generate new business
  • Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with agreed business objectives
  • Report on KPIs to senior management
  • Identify new business opportunities and initiate business development activities
  • Evaluate and determine short- and long-term sales goals
  • Maintain and monitor retention of retail clients and IBs
  • Mentor and provide training to BD team, providing leadership on hiring and staff retention Oversee sales and marketing promotions
  • Monitoring, allocating leads and accounts, including the preparation of reports to measure leads and accounts
  • Team communication monitoring to ensure professional conduct and regulatory compliance
  • Assist team with building their portfolio on a day-to-day basis
  • Develop and manage key client/partner relationships

Key Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent
  • At least 3 – 5 years of experience in leading a team in financial markets
  • Must be able to train new and existing sales team members on new products and services of the Company
  • Knowledgeable about the markets
  • Previous experience and knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Fluent English language skills – additional languages such will be considered an advantage
  • Previous management experience with an existing IB network is preferred
  • Strong team player and team leader
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Goal orientated with an entrepreneurial spirit
