As a Quality Assurance Team lead, you’ll hold a people management position and will be  responsible for the development and implementation of QA strategies and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement QA strategies, methodologies, and processes to ensure high-quality deliverables across all projects
  • Define, implement, and enforce QA standards and best practices, including test planning, test case development, test execution, and defect management
  • Collaborate with development, product management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure a clear understanding of quality requirements and objectives
  • Drive automation initiatives to increase testing efficiency and coverage, leveraging appropriate tools and technologies
  • Establish and maintain key QA metrics and KPIs to monitor and improve quality performance
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of QA processes and practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in QA and software development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Previous experience in software quality assurance, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of successfully leading QA teams and driving process improvement initiatives
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies
  • Experience or involvement in projects related to fintech, trading, and banking industries would be a significant advantage.
