Our client is part of an international Air Cargo & Logistics Services Company that have been in operation for over 10 years with offices in Russia and Cyprus and they are looking to hire a Product Owner to be based at their offices here in Limassol.
Backed by leading players and investors in the air-cargo global space the company is developing the first and aim to be the best digital air-cargo booking platform for Russia.
In this role you will have the opportunity to shape the future of the air freight industry in Russia and the Russian speaking digital world. Your job does not end after pushing new code to production. They expect you to keep an eye on the platform and always have the user and business in mind. With their guidance you will become an industry expert, capable of making the necessary decisions and understanding the big picture of digital air cargo booking which you will develop together with the company.
What will you be doing?
Lead the team that builds a digital solution to change the way air freight is booked today in the Russian speaking net.
Plan and specify new features and functionalities together with the team and other stakeholders.
Improve the UI and UX of the platform together with the IT engineers/developers.
Analyze user behavior on our platform to see if improvements are adopted and understood by our customers.
Be an active communicator inside the organization making sure the team and the stakeholders are on the same page.
Understand our customers’ requirements and translate them into sensible features and functionalities.
Collaborate with global commercial services, partners, customers and airlines to co-develop a roadmap and drive products and features from concept to launch, in a fast-paced environment.
Work with group companies to define the in-house user experience, support, and monitoring for customers.
Prioritize and maintain the backlog for assigned products, assessing the requirements of stakeholders.
Lead the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
Define and execute go-to-market plan, working to ensure that product management, marketing, and sales are well executed.
What skills do you need?
Air-cargo experience either with an airline or air freight forwarder an advantage
Experience with building software as part of a team.
Outstanding communication skills; fluent in English. Knowledge of Russian would be advantageous.
Experience with concept & new service creation for new functionalities.
Data-driven approach to decision making.
