On behalf of our client an EMI (Electronic Money Institution) we seek to employ a Junior risk manager This is a fantastic opportunity for a top-level graduate eager to launch their career in regulatory financial environment. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to tackle new challenges in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have the chance to work on regulatory frameworks concerning Electronic Money Institutions and receive full training.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
• Learn to identify, assess, and mitigate risks;
• Stay up to date with the latest local and EU legislation, rules and best practice in regards to risk management;
• Monitoring Company’s risk exposures (i.e. counterparty, trading, dealing limits etc.) and commenting on these risks;
• Conduct ongoing risk assessments and scenario analyses to evaluate the potential impact of adverse market conditions or unexpected events on portfolio performance and risk exposures;
• Receive training from the Senior Management and the Company`s personnel in understanding the Risk Regulatory Requirement and environment;
• Become familiar with management reporting;
• Gradually understand the regulatory related reports and submissions, including but not limited to Risk management report, ICAAP, Pillar I, Pillar II, and Pillar III;
CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Risk Management, Law, Business or any other related field;
• Willingness to learn and adopt excellent business standards
• Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of the Greek and English language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and report writing skills and a proven track record of technical competence, efficiency, leadership, ethical responsibility, and diligence.
