CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a regulated Investment Firm with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Global Market Analyst to join their growing teams based in either Nicosia or Limassol. As a Global Market Analyst, you will research, analyse and deliver market trends, providing daily commentary in both video and written formats. You will offer clear, engaging, and concise insights, helping clients navigate market complexities with confidence. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Finance, Economics, Business, or another relevant field, who possess approximately 3 years of relevant professional experience with a focus on market analysis, and content creation. You will need to possess a deep knowledge of the financial markets, as well as a native, or near-native level of verbal and written English. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyse daily market movements, including stocks, forex, commodities, ETFs, cryptocurrencies and indices.
- Provide in-depth analysis of trends, key market drivers, and potential impacts on various financial instruments on a daily/weekly basis.
- Provide regular market updates for global PR initiatives and participate in media engagements, including interviews, broadcasts, webinars, conferences, and industry events.
- Serve as the global spokesperson, representing the perspectives and insights of the Company, both internally and externally, including the company on social media platforms like: YouTube, Meta, LinkedIn, and others.
- Partner with the marketing & production team to create video content, such as market updates, webinars, and collaborate with third-party providers.
- Undertake any other related tasks assigned by Management.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or other related field (Master’s degree or CFA designation preferred).
- Approximately 3+ years of experience in financial services or fintech, with a focus on market analysis and content creation.
- Deep knowledge of financial markets and a genuine passion for current affairs.
- Proven experience in providing market forecasts, insights, and analysis across multiple asset classes, including long-term investment instruments like index and mutual funds.
- A native level of verbal and written English is a must.
- Comfortable and composed in media interactions, including podcasts, radio, TV, and other broadcasts.
- Proficient in financial modelling, data analysis tools, and market software (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, Reuters).
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset.
- Performance-focused, results-oriented, and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with experience in public speaking and simplifying complex financial information for a broad audience.
