Our client, a regulated Securities Dealer entity (FSA), is currently looking to hire a Compliance Officer to join their global team, with the ability to grow, secure a great job opportunity and pursue a long-term career.

Job Description

Responsibilities Include

  • Reports directly to Group Head of Legal & Compliance.
  • Monitoring and assessing the level of compliance risk the Company faces and drafting written
    reports
  • Developing, designing, and re-designing the appropriate procedures of the Company
  • Work with the legal team, compliance, and other departments to monitor enforcement of
    standards and regulations
  • Receiving and following up Client complaints or grievances and filing these complaints or
    grievances
  • Prepare reports for senior management & external regulatory bodies as appropriate
  • Review and provide feedback on Licensees with regards to their quarterly reporting
  • Remain informed about current and forthcoming regulatory updates/changes, and inform the
  • Company’s management accordingly
  • Monitor and improve the performance and compliance level of the Company with local FSA
    regulations
  • Ensure that the Company complies with local regulations and requirements
  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of various Company’s policies, manuals, and
    procedures
  • Any other duties assigned from time to time from the Company’s Management

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Law or Finance, Economics or another related field with minimum Upper Second
    Class or equivalent
  • Already approved as Fit & Proper Compliance Officer will be considered as an advantage
  • At least 1-3 years of working experience in the Capital Markets Sector
  • Updated knowledge of regulatory frameworks, ex. AML, KYC, MiFID
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills, attention to detail, professional discipline
    and strong work ethic
  • Fluent in English. Any additional languages will be considered an advantage
