Business Development Executive
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licensed by the Central Bank of Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Business Development Executive to join their growing team based in Larnaca. As a Business Development Executive, you will primarily be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities across Financial Services, Forex, EMIs, and other relevant sectors. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, who possess approximately 5+ years of proven experience in business development, gained working in Financial Services, FX, or for Electronic Money Institutions. You will need to have exceptional communication skills, relationship-building capabilities, and the ability to confidently represent the company in a variety of professional environments. Fluency in both verbal written English is essential, with knowledge of Greek considered a significant advantage. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across Financial Services, Forex, EMIs, and other relevant sectors.
- Utilize an existing strong network of industry professionals to generate leads and build strategic partnerships.
- Represent the company with confidence in meetings, presentations, conferences, and networking events.
- Understand market trends, client needs, and competitive landscapes to craft compelling value propositions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients and aligned business goals.
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and reports for prospective and existing clients.
- Work closely with management to define business development strategies and meet growth targets.
- Contribute to the overall enhancement of the company’s brand and market influence.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, Master’s degree is a plus.
- Approximately 5+ years of proven experience in business development, primarily in Financial Services, Forex, or EMI industries.
- A well-established and powerful professional network within the financial services sector.
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to communicate, negotiate, and close deals effectively.
- Charismatic, persuasive, and confident personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- In-depth understanding of industry dynamics, market trends, and client expectations.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage multiple business opportunities simultaneously.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, with fluency in Greek considered a significant advantage.
