We are looking for an experienced Chief Operations Officer to lead and manage the company’s operations in Sivakasi, India. The COO will oversee daily business operations, manage local teams, improve internal processes, and ensure the India office operates efficiently and in line with the company’s strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in operations management within the technology, software, SaaS, or fintech sector. Experience in fintech is required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the India office.
  • Manage local teams, workflows, reporting, and internal procedures.
  • Coordinate with development, support, finance, HR, administration, and senior management.
  • Ensure smooth delivery of software, fintech, customisation, integration, and client support activities.
  • Monitor project progress, timelines, team performance, and operational risks.
  • Improve processes to increase efficiency, accountability, and service quality.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance monitoring of local staff.
  • Ensure proper communication between the India office and senior management.
  • Prepare regular operational reports, KPIs, and updates for management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, data security standards, and professional practices.
  • Identify operational gaps and propose practical solutions.
 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as COO, Operations Manager, General Manager, or similar senior operational role.
  • Strong experience in fintech is required.
  • Experience in software, SaaS, IT services, accounting software, payroll software, CRM, or business management software will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good understanding of software development, client support, integrations, and operational workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities at the same time.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Experience preparing reports, KPIs, budgets, and operational plans.
  • Ability to work independently and report clearly to senior management.
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and professional integrity.
